none now.. but i had a 180 in there... and today i took the blower off and found some loose lim bolts.. i tightened those and the temp rode fine.. then like 25 seconds before i cut the car off it started shooting up

Sean, you gotta run a thermostat man. Even if it's not causing your overheat (which I believe it is), you're playing Russian Roulette with your pistons. A cracked piston is a serious b!tch compared to putting in a $4 thermostat. Throw in a 195, or 180 if you think you need it, and see what happens.

You have to run one dude, the coolant isn't staying in the motor long enough to actually cool it down.
i ran without a t-stat for awhile and it was fine as long as i didnt drive for an excess of about 10 miles. i was having the same issue with my temp randomly sky rocketing. turned out to be a water pump for me even though it showed no real signs of being bad
Which way will you go if you go? I-75 to I-4 ??

the heater core was the problem..i bypassed it and filled the car from the lim til it came out the radiator cap... bled it a lil and got mad cause the top hose lost pressure when i cut the car off....but i said **** it and drove the car... and the temp didnt pass 175 while driving and 180 while sittin still.. soo so far job done i hope another note.. im broke.. agian.. so im trying to find a few side jobs for gas money there if the car is right

I will be going 75 to 4 yes. Family is going but are taking our van also so they are free to do stuff it sounds like. We are hanging out Friday night, and Saturday night though and heading back Sunday or at leat I am since I already pricelined a hotel. Wife and girls may not hang out all weekend, who knows.
