Central Florida GP Party--- More details on Pg 15

All the snow birds in S Fl ruin it for the rest of the us in the North. Its not that bad here, but we have lost of idiot student drivers in Tally

Yeah, idk what I was thinking about the street drags. They're def on Fri nights, not Sat nights; wishful thinking I guess :/

There is another place ill check where we can maybe go beat on some ricers.

Keep comin up with some ideas yall, we'll see what we can do to fit them in.

I have no idea if it's at all possible but a great photo would be that (I forget the actual name) upside down house place with a bunch of GP's in front of it. Probably no way to swing that since it is always busy though. The Gaylord Palms property makes for a nice backdrop too if you get the right angle. Actually the Convention Center is a cool looking building that might be a possible picture spot. Forgive me, I went into photo-op idea overdrive for a sec.

The last time I went down I-75 from Tampa to Sarasota, I did 90% of my passing in the right lane, since the "fast lane" was filled with slow people. There was actually a stretch where I blew past a couple dozen cars without leaving that lane.

3 AM driving on I-75 is nice, though.

The convention center is cool, I'm gonna check to see if we can get in.

LOL. They just call it "street drags" at the drag strip because they pretty much run street cars. Its at orlando speed world. I have not raced on the street in years, they made it such a big deal if you get caught. I miss the good ol days of cruisin the town looking for a race.

I still do that, no matter where im headed. Always looking to race.

Streets Drags at Speed World are always fun.

i never been to orlando's track. but im not sure if they do this.. but if the shut down area is flat.. they can use it instead of the real track.. with a flag man.. and two ppl at the other end to tell what lane won.. make it wayy more street

i do the same on i 95.. i drive more right lane than left.. cause of the dam slow old or just new drivers... that dont know which lane is for what

thanks... it makes it feel more street.. no tree no times no nothing.. just you and the other person.. the good thing is they can charge less... and have the ambulance and police there like a regular night.. they wont use nearly as much power from time systems and lights... if some of you guys down there can propose that idea im sure they will be down

Yeah, like on Pinks. That's some legit hardcore racing.

I'll see If I can talk somebody into it maybe next Friday night. Can't go tomorrow, gotta dine with the in-laws.....blehhhhh

Its not expensive. $15 to run all night. It would not happen there. It would be cool though. They are pretty strict on the rules like you need a helmet for anything quicker than 14.0. Still lots of fun.
