• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Bronco Boy's 2002 GT

Oh yea, I keep forgetting you Canadians are up in Canadia.
LOL

Our mountains are seeing snow, and if I were to drive for an hour or so.....

You aren't all that far off from us, we get down into the 30s(2-3*C) every few days or so at night. Still gets decently warm throughout the day though.

Car looks great, was it easy to remove the front bumper cover? I have to take mine off to do some work on it

As other members suggested, I will put a heli-coil in the drain plug so it doesn't strip on me.

Today I ordered wheel spacers and some LED fog lights.

Installed my TRS headlight harness for the retrofits. Been well over a year since the retros were installed, so it's good to have have hi-beams again!

Looks so much better now. Hopefully there is no rubbing; doesn't appear that there should be.

Found some time to move forward on project "LED Fog Lights". I did the same thing with my current Piaa 510 fogs; I take stock fog housings and mate them to the aftermarket light. This moves the lens forward about 2", so the lights look better on the car, and you get a wider light pattern. I also gave these lights an 880 plug, so they can connect to the stock wiring.

Remove the lenses, the metal light shields then clean up the cut edges of the lens:

Remove the screws and bracket from the back of the light, and cut off the 5202 plug:

Cut off the mounting tabs:

Apply glue to the back of the light and the inside of the housing and stick 'em together:

Once the glue is set, solder the LED wires to an 880 bulb base:

All done and ready to go on the car:

The rain is coming for the next few days, so it will be a few days before I can install them.

I thought about going the led route myself but ehh for the price plus the performance they still can't beat a hid foglight projector but they're still better then just the standard hid in a reflector setup and no need for anything extra like bulbs or ballast.
