Bronco Boy's 2002 GT

We drive Grand Prix's, wasting money is the name of the game, lol.
True, but my T-bird was way worse. And my Bronco was the ultimate wallet killer; had her for 15 years and she took $50K from me. Since I parted her out a few years back, I have re-couped about $5000. Good thing she gave me LOTS of good memories.:th_laugh-lol2:

Installed an underhood light.....

Done a few things over the past few months......

Installed a "delay on" relay from Waytek (#75535) in the aftermarket fog light harness; have it set for a 5-6 second delay:

Installed a new phone cradle:

Installed an auxillary LED for my alarm. Put it where the stock alarm LED goes:

Installed some LED bulbs in the dash cluster:

That got me some dimly lit signal lights:

Put diode's on the signal wire of the front 194 bulb (LED also), and now the lights are very dim:

New (to me) snow tires mounted and ready to go on the car.....

Re-did the ground for the under-hood light; hooked it to the pin switch for the alarm so the light comes on automatically when the hood is opened and I can't leave it on by mistake. The switch is still in place so I can turn the light of if needed....

3300K fog light bulbs re-installed for the winter season.....

I like the switch, you can use that for a hood switch on a remote start setup if you ever go that route. Snow tires look meaty, lol.

Thanks. That switch was always there, and is for the remote start. Back when I installed the hood light, I couldn't get the switch to work; turned out to be corroded and rusty. I tried cleaning it, but couldn't get it to work consistently. So, I got a new switch, used lots of die-electric grease on the connection and put a piece of heater hose around it to keep the water away from it. Hopefully it will stay clean a bit longer this way.

Can't wait to get the snow tires on the car. They were a good buy; $200 for all 4, almost 80% tread left. When I bought them, the guy said that he had lots of others wanting to come and look at them. "I think I should have asked a bit more for them" he told me. I said "You could have" as I handed him the $200 with a grin on my face. LOL

Have you removed the resonator under the airbox yet? you gotta have the whine! And you need Moar raised top!

Airbox is untouched, except for an AirAid filter. No raised top in my future.

Love those cars. Was yours an auto or 5-speed?
I do miss her. She was an auto. When I bought the bird, I pulled up and said to myself, "If the car is Titanium and manual, I'm buying it." Turned out to be dark blue and auto, but I bought her anyways. LOL

As cheap as they are now I should have bought another one. I miss mine bad.....except changing spark plugs. That I don't miss at all.

Jeff

when I bought my GTP it came down between one of those and the GTP. Only reason I got the GTP is because the guy with the Tbird didn't answer his phone.
