Bronco Boy's 2002 GT

^^That.

OEM style downpipe that you bought back when are more expensive than an aftermarket one that's better.

No U-Bend or small piping.

Tuning these cars is more so done to save the life of the transmission and to keep it cool.

But I don't know.

Ha-ha, if it was only that easy. I don't plan to sell, but I don't control my life.

I had my Bronco for 13+ years, said I would never get rid of her, then life went sideways and I re-couped $5000 on a truck that I invested almost $50000 into.

Then my Super Coupe, which I had for 4 years, got hit and written off. I got a few grand from the insurance, but that didn't cover the $8000 I put into her.

Now the GP. Five years later, not sure what the $$ invested is, but it is growing.

I'm older and wiser these days, so looking to save money rather than throw it away.

I hear ya, but re-doing things that I've already done is counter-productive.

How do you know what I paid for my downpipe? :th_winking:

Lets be clear here. This car is a cheap-daily-driver. In the years past, 90% of my play moneys were going to my 4x4 habit. That habit is gone now, and I will not continue the habit with this car. Capiche? :)

Lmao nice.

But on a serious note you never get what you put into a car. Never. You do for the hobby and the enjoyment. Least i do.

Agreed

Also the same reason you keep certain stock parts and just demod and make some of your money back that way

Ditch TB Spacer.

Get real downpipe.

Toss on an intake or get a high flow filter in the stock airbox.

Install HV3.

Get tuned by Overkill.

Love your car all over again.

You should consider an tune, HV3, intake and ER rockers. I have this on my 99 and it made the car more fun to drive. It is my daily driver as well. I have had mine for 15 1/2 years and I still enjoy driving it everyday.

Nice car

I'd listen to blueguy

I'd also recommend an open cone style air filter, it'll make your car sound awesome.

GT = slow. I've come to terms with it, and don't lose any sleep. LOL

I know you don't re-coupe when you mod. 25 years of doing so has taught me that many a time over.

Got some new tires last week.....

Was getting them mounted on some pregens that I bought over a year ago.....

But the tire shop called to advise that one wheel had a crack.....

So I brought them my old tires and wheels and had them mount the new rubber on my old torque-star wheels.....

You kinda remind me of myself. I have wasted tons of money on my car and gone backwards but i do enjoy where it sits now with all i have done to it. I wasted a ton of money on wheels and tires before i settled on my 06 gtp wheels (17 inch)
