Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

bad news on my 99gtp

Wow. So I should just buy the heads, can, intake, head gaskets, ARP head studs, intercooler and everything else I want and just put on the stockshort block? I have a machine shop here that does all my machine work and I only spent about 600 on a ford v8 that was decked, stroked, balanced, bored, line bored,etc....

thats all well and good just not necessary in the 3800 world. the bottom end is like a tank in these motors. they just dont fail unless you **** with them or the LIM gaskets go and the coolant takes out a bearing.

WhenWhen I bought car 5 years ago lim was leaking and had water in oil. Looked like peanut butter smeared in the engine. I went ahead and did head gaskets and poured 2 some diesel in oil pan to clean out and changed oil 4 times in first 1k miles. Car had 142k then. Now 173k and rod took a dump. My guess is the 13psi wasn't good for bottom end. Car usually makes 10.5psi. I also think that I may have had gas in the oil cause when I took supercharger off the lim was wet with gas. And 3 injectors were wet. Believe that's where my fuel mileage went down the drain is from 3 leaking injectors.

This is most likely what did in your engine. The fuel sits in the cylinders and eventually leaks past the rings and into the block.

Yeah. I'm a mechanic for a living. I've been a Nissan master tech for 5 years. Now work at a independent shop working on all makes and models. Hope my new engine has good injectors. Will do lim gaskets and maybe swap my heads and sc.
