• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Android = Aeroforce

I have both the adapter and the app. I'll have to check this out ASAP.

Edit: I love how the only model specific predefined PID set is for our cars. It's like it was meant to be...

I finally received the OBDII bluetooth thing. Purchased the licensed version of the Torque app. Added the KR PID and no luck. It's not set to "0" it's not receiving any data it always displays "-".

I'm not sure what else I can do now.

the full version has a custom ID set for grand prix that you can load. The problem is that none of the custom IDs loaded with this set seem to work. This GP set includes KR, current gear, 1-2 shift time among many others. The "standard" set of IDs like timing, RPM and boost seem to work fine.

uhm so yeah... I took Pure2sin's idea and invited the dev, Ian Hawkins to this thread, but in page 8 there's a rapid share link to his ripped app which I didn't notice before. He asked me if we could remove it. So if anyone can do it, please do so... now I don't even know if Ian will help us at all after he saw that... D=

I'm going to. Is there a working link for a good inexpensive one somewhere? One of the ebays quit working. Also how hard is it to use pay pal with eBay ive never done that before. Do you have to transfer money to your pay pal account or what?

Does anyone have a list of GM's OBDII extended PIDs and their HEX number? I can't get a hold of one and I want to compare it with the PIDs in the torque app and try to change them myself.

I don't understand how it can be advertised as supports KR, but doesn't work on one of the largest platforms. If it won't work for W-body cars what has it worked on?

I would hope Ian can shed some light on this for us because I want to buy the program and a droid but not if KR does not work or he can't figure out how to make it work.

Looks like the link that DreadMcLaren posted is gone now. :th_thumbsup-wink:

If this works the way tht I want it to I probably would have paid ten but I would have *****ed about it. This is more then a reasonable price

$5 is a great price, hell I'd even pay it again lol. But as of yet KR and none of the other extended PIDs work for me.

This is the exact bluetooth adapter I have:

I say we keep a running list of adapters that do and don't work well. Even though there's no reason they all shouldn't work the same if they're based off the same chipset.
