97 GTP The White Ghost aka Pearl

Never ever pulled a PS pump pulley on one of these...pumps always seem to come off with the pulley because a puller is involved.
Got two spare PS pumps ready to go with pulley on em just in case lol

any plans for the interior? gut it? buy a new one at a junk yard oor something? or do you have it and its just not in the car? lol
 
No I don't have anything for the interior yet, but I will get some 04+ seats at the junkyard.

I'm just taking things slower and little by little! I want to get her in excellent running condition first then I will work on exterior and interior.

Lol....people are going to be fooled by the way the interior/exterior looks!
 


Andesmint, how did you take the springs, etc....off the throttle on the throttle body, when you painted yours. It's kind of puzzling to me.

I want to take it apart for cleaning and paint.
 
take a hook tool or something like that and pull the springs off of their seats on the "black part" once that is done take of the nut. the other pin has a clip on it that must be removed... then the black assembly will slide off of it, then the plastic washers for the springs, and then the springs come off. I just taped over the pin for the butterfly and ect.
 


that looks pretty good.


little tip. if you can hang the parts with a wire or string from somewhere, you can paint the whole part with out waiting for it to dry to flip it over.
 
Yea that's a good idea Scotty I was thinking about that because the flipping and waiting part sucks, but i find other things to do when I'm waiting. It definitely would be easier, if I hung it up though.
