• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

bought a throttle assembly today and i'm looking at new levers/perches right now to clean up the handlebars.

the stock **** is gawdy as all hell, plus a bunch of electrics that i dont need.

velocity stacks have been purchased already. they have to machine them and i'd assume they'd ship in a week or so. not sure, but that's already been ordered.

just bought a lever set with attached master cylinder for the brake. they're adjustable 'new school' style levers that'll fit my bars. i'm gonna delete the clutch safety switch so i'll just have to make sure i'm in neutral or i have the clutch pulled in when i start the bike (duh?). i am also deleting the kill switch and the starter button off the handlebars. those will go somewhere else. i'm fairly set on constructing some form of a switch panel that'll go somewhere near the seat. not that far yet, hah.

i still need to drop the bike off by the guys house. that should happen in the next couple days and he said he'd take about a week (but i'm assuming two for my own sake).

i'm getting poor again. hah.

Diamond plate, bolt to frame with a 90* angle and rounded corners. Drill the holes for a small toggle for on/off kill switch and push to start button. Paint matte black to match frame or leave polished to match to stacks. Gets a rat rod/custom feel with a simple reloation and option for customizing.

yup, pretty much something exactly like that.

except it might be a box because that'd be a good place to put the regulator/rectifier without having it hanging out in the open. the ignition switch should go here, too. i may also do a 'hidden' kill switch somewhere so that someone can't just rip open the box, tie wires together and start the bike. although i know if someone wants it they'll take it, i'm probably better off safeguarding it as much as i can.

New throttle assembly. No mo switches.

Frame dropped off for chopping up.

It's officially happening. The guy seemed just as eager as I am to work on my bike. That's a good thing I suppose.
