• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

instead of changing my oil on my car (~1000 miles over) i decided to do a little work on the CB750 motor.

i got the lightened alternator flywheel and tach hold plug installed. i also got rid of all the old phillips head screws all over the motor for some black anodized allen head screws.

now i'm ready for the frame to get back to me so i can start assembling all of that since the motor 'updates' are completed as of now.

strip the heads, no.

strip the threads, yes. they are aluminum so they'll strip easier than the steel screws.

and getting those screws out was a bear. an impact driver may have been the best tool i've ever bought. handled them all like a champ.

might slap together the bar setup today just to see what they look like put together since all of that stuff is just sitting around my house waiting for the frame to come back.

You need them... don't think about it... do it.

no, because those are ugly.

this isn't some gay dudes harley we are putting together here. it is not a chopper.

This really makes me want to do something with my bike instead of just riding it once in a while. I fricken love those levers.

just ordered a spin on oil filter adapter so i can get rid of the bulky filter housing on the front of the motor.

i want my frame back!

there's no time frame. he's a good dude and i'm not going to rush him. he has a life outside of what he's doing for me so i can't expect a fast turnaround time.
