$700 Racebonne

Re: $700 Bonne SSEI Project

I buffed out the fender real quick to see how the paint is under all the dust/dirt.

Re: $700 Bonne SSEI Project

its got a blower!!!!!!Good find
that is some serious gunk on everything
looks like you need a gallon of degreaser and a green 3M scrubby for all the body slime on the interior
it'll be interesting to see this pet project develop.

you going to keep it or flip it?

Re: $700 Bonne SSEI Project

Mmmmmmm a Bonneville....
Yikes, the fuel door rust...does it have a case of hood herpes as well?

Re: $700 Bonne SSEI Project

the msd coils work though boosten so I call them a win lol.

Yes it has under-hood herpes. I will be keeping this car until it dies for good probably lol..

Re: $700 Bonne SSEI Project

Well I got it all buttoned up and took her for a drive around the block, ran goooooddddd for a 200k+ mile car. Had to change coils, icm, wires, and plugs but its good to go now.

Issues found on test drive: Needs aligned, brakes are warped, and 1 rear strut is out of the top mount and the other rear looks like it is near new? lol

Re: $700 Bonne SSEI Project

Check the rear sub because that gas door decay looks severe.

you'd be surprised the rest of the car isn't that bad at all. the previous owner must have loved to let the gas pour all over the car after fueling up..

Re: $700 Bonne SSEI Project

Awwww yeaahhhhhh. More Bonnevilles. Good god those seats... That tank rust is bad too, but not the worst I've seen. Eager to see more progress.

Re: $700 Bonne SSEI Project

I have no idea how to get that "stuff" off the seats. the previous owner was a smoker and its like some sort of smokers crap
