2009 MGM G8 GT - New Wheels & Carbon Fiber Spoiler

Re: 2009 MGM G8 GT - Moar Coilover Action

Where did you get the back-up camera? I got one off of ebay and it works great and all, but it somehow got moisture inside so it's a foggy picture in the morning. I plan to get another an seal it up a bit more before I install it.

The backup camera came with my head unit. I'm Sure It's Just Some Cheap EBay one. But I've heard they're all just as good as the next one really as far as brands go. I'd just get another cheap one if you need it. Maybe dry yours out even and seal where possible if it's worth it to you.

So it's been a while since I posted on here. I put my headlights back on after reaiming them again. Still a little off but better than before. It's because the shield was pushed too far back and the cutoff wasn't sharp at the distance I was at and needed to be. They will be staying though lol.

Haha, I don't want to screw into the trim man. I will though on the lower center counsel probably. I need the circle ones though, idk how I'd do the rectangles.

You had to cut yours open? Damn, use a hot knife or dremel? Permaseals a biaa

Re: 2009 MGM G8 GT - Moar Coilover Action

silicone and epoxy, the I was thinking of wrapping the whole area with rubberized sealing tape, you won't see it unless I pop the hood, but if I lay it right, I can heat it to sort of shrink wrap to the light. Its a tape I found, haven't seen anyone use it with headlights yet.

Yeah I would do whatever you think would be best to ensure the seal. Epoxy should be good enough, just make sure you use enough. I've sealed fogs with epoxy and it wasn't hard at all.
god i love the look of this car!!
Thanks Vet!
Looking good.

Thanks Guz!
