The stereos with android have been around for a little while now and they seem to be getting better with time, all they really need to do is give these things dual core processors or better yet quad core processors and some more memory, but then you wouldn't be getting these things for the kind of price you can get them for. Hope it works out! Can't wait to see pictures.

Yeah, they've been around since 2010 or so, but with the g8 and the hvac controls with the radio, we only have 1 option. N it doesn't look too good. This one's for a lumina ss and it fits in ours. Not many people know about it and if it will have problems. I said screw it n I'll try it after one person did n the controls wouldn't work as far as fan speeds. The guy said he gave me a new can bus for it that should.

Here she is! It's a little long but I cover mostly everything. I still need to tether my phone or hot spot it while out n about. I'll do that and update, also need to figure out the air pin to mirror my phone wirelessly. I had it somewhat working earlier but ran out of time.

That is pretty slick! Like how it overlays the Climate Control.

You could probably change the boot animation pretty easily.

You can, but I just disabled mine so it shows the Pontiac logo the whole time, then I set my background to the Pontiac logo, lol. Just seems cleaner.

I picked up a rotofab radiator cover today as well as an electric impact. I went to assemble my stock springs and new struts on the gp the other day and my compressor has gone to **** n won't hold the psi for anything. Figured this is a lot more convenient also. 40 bucks with tax from good old harbor frieght with a 25% off coupon.

g8 is commin along really nice man, quick question, how much overall expensive is the GT compared to you GP? insurance, gas? im thinkin about getting either this or a gto soon, my cars seein its way out pretty soon

Thanks, the price difference was pretty significant as far as cars value obviously. lol. Insurance is actually cheaper for me. But I just turned 25 also and switched insurances. Now I have this and my gp too so it helps for multiple cars. Only a 25 discount for that tho. Gas mileage is pretty much the same. I got 15.8 in my gp and the same in my g8. All city. 93 tune on both also

oh ok gotcha, yea im about to turn 24 but i am on my dads insurance, and im payin 120 for my car so i can only imagine how much a v8 would be

So I'm 21 with GXP. Insurance each month is 110 including my property insurance. Full coverage

what insurance company do you have? im also full coverage and i got liberty mutual

I have AAA. I also don't have health insurance n that makes my rates go up. I do however have pretty good credit n some say that plays a role

Radiator cover on. Still need to get correct size clip pieces. I went to advanced n grabbed 2 different sizes n neither fit correctly snug.
