Just picked up these bad boys today. All I need is some front rotors and I'm gonna grab some ss brake lines. Also need to fix the brake line crossover on the caliper. I can't find a place that sells em. Only for the front of the ctsv, so I may have to get some made.

Got the h1 6.0 projectors, some Apollo 1 shrouds, mini Gatling gun shrouds, and some standard h1 projectors to just have since they were only 20 bucks.
Now I need to paint these shields orange, and I'm waiting for some 9006 to h11 & h9 conversion pigtails to use my heavy duty trs relay harnesses for the highs and lows. After that I just need some free time to mess with them again. I have all the materials tho finally.

Use a hairdryer or heat gun. It's not hard at all. Google how to vinyl wrap trim on YouTube. Patience tho lol

Wouldn't D2S 3.0s have worked? or still too big?

Not sure. Last time I did my fxr quad tho, these came out shortly after and we're pretty comparable to the fxrs. They are supposedly pretty good. I'll be happy with em.

Now I need to attach the shrouds, mount the halos, complete all the wiring and try to make it as neat as possible, and seal them up. Then I will have to re attach them to the car and get them aligned again since the headlight can be fastened by just a little off.

Does the mini H1 fit right inside the stock projector mount?

Pretty much. It butts right up to it, squeezed my hand to jb weld between it while aiming. Fxrs just goes n Backs in so much easier n more room. All in all it wasn't too bad. It's gonna look sick. If I have time this week after work or next Sunday, I'm hoping to be done

So with all the mystery out of it, how is the difficulty compared to the GP?
Ya know cutting the supports/fitting projectors in the housing on the GP VS. removing bumper on the G8.
The reason I ask is...... I briefly paged thru some of the G8 forums and they seemed mystified.

Oh man, it was super easy compared to my gp. Just cut 2 parts on each mounting plate for each projector n that was it. There was plenty of room for the ballasts and back of the headlights. Yeah I had to take the bumper off, but putting it back on I grabbed my little impact makita with a 10 mm on the end and it fits for every single bolt. So it took me about 25 minutes to put the headlights and the bumper back on.

They are all done and in! I need to put some rubber caps in still to ensure no leaking and make sure they're aligned true stills since the headlight can move and be adjusted a little. I outlined the bolts with a sharpie while I was aiming them last weekend,but it may still be off a tad to bother me.
