C5 Corvette sensors are uber short and they work just fine...but we spliced ours in, it didn't plug in IIRC.

Oh ok... I thought I heard someone say that different length wires effect resistance....

For plug wires maybe.

I'm talking o2 sensors.

I know what your talking about bug guy.... Someone was talking about doing something with the lead from the O2 due to firewall issues or some jazz..

We didn't replace the injector orings because we didn't remove the injectors from the fuel rail..

^ I think he meant the lower orings, where the injector goes into the head.

I checked the injectors out. Number 6 looks perfectly normal, number 3 was actually missing a piece as you can see, but still must work fine.

Just cleaned them with Carb cleaner and paper towel

better off to swap an injector and drive it until sat to see if the misfire follows

remove metal retainer thingy and pull it out.

i did remove metal thing and kinda tugged on it and it didnt come out.

I didnt know if i was missing something or not, i didnt want to break anything

The missing piece is the O ring. You kinda need those.

hes right. i bet its still in the injector hole.

i picked up a assorted box of fuel rated O rings at harbor freight for 10 bucks i think, you get about 12 of every size big to small.

ill remove the fuel rails again and see if its in the hole.

Im getting a set of 6 used stock L67 injectors from a member.
