Dont paint everything black.. you need contrast under that hood.. once a black VC goes on there your contrast is gonna go down..


Although i saw a nice little mod yesterday - Painted overflow/Washer fluid bottle.. eliminated that ugly yellowing plastic.

You can't buy them, unless you get the aluminum ones ZZP sells. This one was a stock L67 VC that was filled and painted.

It will still have contrast, after the black VC goes on, then red fuel rails while I also have red dog bones, fuse box, and braces.

Well im basically driving a hummer at the moment. My car see's about 19ish mpg on the highway. I am only getting about 220 miles to a tank. So after doing some research to cause this, I have 4 things i need to replace. Spark Plugs, Plug Wires, Upstream o2 Sensor, and PCV.

Step 1 of 4 done, PCV:

I just bought an Upstream o2 from online. $25 with wiring harness included. That will be here next week.

After that Xp606 Iridiums and New wires and i should be good to go. Hopefully.

AL605's gapped at .050"

Get some red MSD wires and paint those fuel rails red.

It'll really set it all off.

Buy NGKs.

My MSD Wires were legit.

Had them on and off the car more than you've complaing about your car.

Which is a lot.

605's are better than 606 iridiums?

Already planning on some Red wires. Either MSD, PRJ, or ZZPs new series of wires

And yes, Next time im with harper, we are installing new smooth Black VC, and painting the Rails red.

If you're planning on wires, either MSD or PRJ...**** ZZP wires...regardless if they fixed them or not, just buy the MSD's. They are the cheapest and I've proven them to work great, so has Reptile. Had them for YEARS.

And since you're slightly modded or plan on tossing at least headers on the car or getting it tuned, a tad cooler of a plug won't hurt. Especially since they are $1.99 a pop.

MSDs from PFYC.com?

I only have an intake at the moment and its probably going to stay that way for about a year. So i still run 605s with just an intake for about a year?

I bought mine from PFYC as well...but quite a long time ago...like when I bought the car.
