i didnt even know what freight collect was.

My parents are already really upset i just blew $820 on the car LMAO

and plus i still have to get it all painted, if i knew about the freight collect earlier, i probably wouldnt have bought it all.

Anyways, to late now, but i have a question. Are you willing to help me install my hood and Front air dam when i get it painted? Hopefully to save me a tad bit of money and you arent to far from me at all.

I dont want to just 3M tape my front air dam on, i want it actually secured on and i know you can install this sh!t since youve done both. Not sure if the body shop will install it already but if not, ill send you a text and maybe we can set something up if you dont mind.

Not a problem. I used screws in the wheel well and 3m tape. Never had any issues

Hey Dan, on the freight collect amount. Did they give you a PRO number or bill of lading number? If so, have that handy and call the trucking company. With that number, they will be able to tell you how much it will be. If they are good, they should call you to arrange a delivery time. The company I use at work is really good about that anyways.
How much do those hoods weigh? I was doing a quote yesterday for a 100# shipment and it was $120, regardless of class because I think 100# was under the minimum weight bracket. So the $140 is probably about right. Based on me guessing class and what not.

^this. I called them with my PRO number on my receipt I got in my email and they told me exactly how much I owed them so I could have the cash ready. And also set up a date and time for them to drop it off. Be ready to check everything out before you pay the driver. Open the box and make sure it's not damaged or anything, then pay him.

Thanks you danielle. i work for a lawn mowing company as of right now and since its been 95+ with no rain, everything is dead so nothing to mow, so that means no money for the week. In that case i cant fork out $140+ on shipping alone. I may need to cancel this transaction :( plus they have not givin me a number yet to call because the order is still "processing"

It will process for a few weeks probably. Took me 5 weeks to get my CF F1. Just save up as much as you can. You accepted the terms of Freight Collect when you bought it.. I don't know if you will be able to get out of it..

well if i got 5 weeks then i forsure can get the money but honestly as of right now and this up coming week. i will not have the money. hopefully it will process for a few weeks. This is the one package i actually want to be really slow so i can save

Contact PFYC with your issue and ask them what they can do for you. Allen Kervorkov, one of the guys who runs it helped me out tremendously with mine when my hood got lost and stuff like that. Find him on Facebook for a direct response from him, or just email them.

Well looking at the forecast, no rain in sight for like 10+ days, and since i got the day off of work, i decided to clay bar and wax my car. After 5 hours of working on the car, this is the result..

Also, since i work for a mowing company, and its been 95+ degrees for weeks and no rain, everything is dead. Dead lawns = No work = No money. In that case, dont expect my SD hood and front air dam to be on and painted for a long time. Its just going to sit in my garage, sadly, until it rains and i get back on the job and earn some cash flow.

Mmm nice pics. I need to claybar my car and run some dupont paint protector over it before this weekend. Although my car doesnt need to be claybared, but hell why not :) Looks good though. TUCK THOSE TIPS IN!!!

Tips cant be tucked in anymore unless the outside was cut/grinded down. Doesnt bother me they stick out that far, eventually i would like new tips that are more flush but im definitely in no rush to do so.

I got it all sent to a Con-Way terminal next to the airport. Saved money on residential shipping. $161 total for shipping.
