Tore the blower off the car again today.

I did fix the misfire and vacuum leak. Ended up being the number 6 injector.

Re-painted the blower, fuel rails, cross braces, and dog bones.

Ended up putting 3-coats of paint and 2-coats of clear on everything. The outcome was great and I'm very pleased.

This was my first time ever taking the blower off by myself with no help. So I'm a tad proud of myself, since it was the first time for me. It just an accomplishment to have come off and back on with no problems.

Looks awesome. I've always been terrified to remove my blower but I want it painted so bad!

It is very simple.

It may look intimidating, but it very straight forward and easy. Plus you'll have GPF on your side if you get stuck, you can't go wrong with that.

as far as i know it is and only dan would lose a bolt lol still looks good.

The sig has not been updated. I will get around to that, one day.

I bought a bolt at the hardware store.

Its an 8Mx1.25x40mm

So its 5mm to short, but it will work until tomorrow.

For a 1997 Michigan winter driven car.......its looking pretty good Dan. My gas cap door on my 03 is worse then yours but you have rust underneath it which I dont so I guess we cancel each other out.

I agree. For a 1997 that lives in Michigan, daily driven all year long and not ever garaged. It looks pretty decent.
