THIS!!! My dads worthless and lucky for me and my siblings we had a big family to help us growing up ive learned a hell of alot from them and will be greatful for them my whole life!! Point is just be there for them means a hell of alot i chew out some of my friends that have kids and are no longer with the childs mom so they rarely see the child. That flat out pisses me off really.

There's no way I can leave my child, my girlfriend, and her family behind.

That is such a dick move, and I don't know how people can just do that.

Even though my girlfriend is the one carrying the baby, and I can walk out at anytime, but this is just as much responsibility to me as it is to her.

I have a good friend that her daughter's (two girls one age 2 and one age 3.5) father wants nothing to do with them. We just found out yesterday afternoon that the youngest one was diagnosed with Leukemia, so we will see how he reacts....if he even does.

In all seriousness the biggest thing you can do is be there for your child and her.. No matter how the future plays out. There's enough deadbeats out there.. Every child needs both parents active.

At least your stepping up man. Congrats! It's all not that bad. Haha my girlfriend has a kid and the father moved to Florida when he found out. Kid will have a happy life with both parents! Congrats bud

Appreciate all the support from the fabulous GPF world.

Like I've said before, this is my kid, and I am not going anywhere. No matter how easy it is for me to flee, I would never do such a thing. Time for me to be the best parent I can. I can either take this blessing and let it ruin my life, or take it and make the best of it.

But, without looking to far into the future, I'm really looking forward to installing all the car parts next week saturday with Brandon.
