The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
Nice work cant wait to see this done! I love swapped vehicles! Who gives crap about what someone bought from a dealer, home built swapped vehicles are way way cooler!!
Got some time to build some brackets and now looking at what will fit? Still need to install blower but need to change blower shaft seal. Found that after after installing the new oil?
Just a heads up for people pulling a old blower puller. Pull the snot and use a press. I used a puller and bent the pullley. And damaged the puller. :th_sick1: On the the press it was at 10 Ton's :th_nervous:,and then a very load pop. Then it pressed like I thought it would. Some wear on the seal area, but I think it will clean up. Bearing are smooth and could be reused.
Now I will need a new pulley. Maybe one that can be changed ? :th_mischievious: Maybe I will go to the ceramic bearings?
your supposed to use a special puller for the sc pulley. hell i bet you could make one with your fab skills. check zzp's web site, they rent and sell the puller. and have a pic of it. wink wink lol
May have been just my turn?
I have been pulling blower pulleys on our SC motors (Mercury Marine) for years with it.
Maybe it just had one to many? I think it just had a little bit of rust ? And that will stop it DEAD!:th_crossbones1:
Oh well ! Now I get to play with pully size!:th_biggrin2:
Need some help.
Got the new (Intense ) pully kit.
How far down do I install the pully mount?
Got a email out to Intence Racing but think their closed?
Thanks,Randy
