i was checking out the other thread you posted, you took the rotor coating off the rotors as seen in this pic. you'll want to find another set of rotors now as your not going to make as much boost as it would if you had left that black coating on.
that was a factory coating, its not replaceable.

wrong, its not carbon, it was the coating, they should never be touched, ever.

Here's what peeled rotors look like. I used CRC TB cleaner to remove the carbon and got the coating too. It was clear to me as it was peeling in large pieces.
Then I also learned. The carbon helps seal the rotors to the case and likely should be left in place, at least inside the casing.
B85's rotors look fine to me.

Although..if you parts washed it, you likely want to replace the snout bearings while you are there.

The easiest way to do the wiring is basically just to get power to everything.
GMtuners.com has a good writeup or 2 on how to go specifically from a fiero to a 3800, but the concepts are the same for anything else. I suggest ditching the 3800 fusebox and use the blazer box to power up your injectors/ignition/maf/etc.
Tuning wise.. you are pretty stuck. I am one of the only people that go near the "goofy" 96/97 stuff, and reality is that pcm you have is probably not directly supported by anything, and would need to have another OS put on it... Its all possible stuff but trying to do mailorder with it is somewhat risky busniess. GMtuners.com will most likely help you out for $80 or so, and he wouldnt stick you with a tune that wouldnt work..... Personally I would junkyard a 98 PCM from a GTP and run it (it doesnt need to be programmed to work, unless you want a functioning check engine light) Some wiring mods would have to be done to your harness... The GMtuners.com page would help you with that as he has a 98 wiring spec as well.

Also,what about the PCM looking for chassis speed and the lack of tran's signel? Doese't the PCM need CEL's turned off for my swap?

In looking at a 98, I'd say go grab a 98 harness from a JY. Usually it's pretty cheap and it's just disconnecting stuff. Any 3800 98+ will work well for you.

Re-pinning a pre 98 harness is really easy.. it probably takes 20 minutes.
You cant really be short on amps.. I run all the fiero swaps I do off of 2-3 15 am fuses in the stock fiero box... I would just divide up whatever engine power fueses you have availible to the different items in the engine. Relay the fans and fuel pump obviously, usually the jimmy will have the relays for this already wired up in its own body fuse box or wiring harness.
The 3800 pcm doesnt care if a trans is there or not (yay). The cel light is going to be on for all the stuff you are missing, but it wont hurt anything if you can stand looking at the service light... You can eventually have the pcm tuned for proper opreation of everything but I am just suggesting its not needed up front, and the 98+ pcm's are much more common and easier to work with.

Dammit the Bonneville (h body) vs GP (W body) differences got me. W body is what..like 13 wires to move?

And get any 1998 3800 harness,supecharged or N/A ?

Bill is saying to find a wbody 98 harness... Im saying you can just tear the connectors apart and pin them according to whatever PCM you end up with. You can run through each pin quickly enough, and you can rip out all the transmission, abs, ac, evap crap you wont use in the process.
The Jimmy will have "open slots" for whatever power was running to the old motor.. It probably has a dedicated ignition fuse, as well as a TBI fuse, and an ECU fuse among some injector or emissions fuses. my personal fiero basically has the ignition, half the injectors, and a few sensors running on 1 15 amp fuse, and the other half of the injectors along with a few more sensors running off the other fuse.. a total of 11 items running off of 2 fuses roughly if I remember right.
Throwing a junkyard relay in and wiring it up for the fans wouldnt be a tough deal at all.. Trying to fiddle around with that spiderweb box of fuses is far from worth the hassle for a small handful of relays.

Yes.. agreed.
Just make sure you have a matching wiring schematic to pin with based on the vehicle you want the pcm to work for. A SSEi/Ultra was different pinouts than a GTP
