• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

1971 Datsun

Run it. I don't see any pistons or rods laying in there, just use some 90 weight oil and she'll be fine.

On a serious note, that ****ing sucks. Hopefully you can find a good short block.

Well went ahead and changed the #3 rod bearing out.. crank was fine... i was real suprised. That rod must be an egg lol... ill let u know how it goes... everything else looks great

its still knocks just not bad lol... if that makes since lol... above 3k there is a slight knock. im just going ot drive it like a sane person until i can get a new motor...

these motors HATE the trimetal bearings, use only oem type aluminum bearings...

once those bearings start to shed, the filter media starts to plug, and not much pressure drop is needed to pop open the filter bypass and send trash directly through the motor....

the pressure plunger incident didnt help

in this case stock is the bestest, stock is the fastest

but oil mods help.
