Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

1971 Datsun

Im fighting it. I want to open her up but i know better. Anyway how accurate is torque whwn reading vacuum from the ECU? It shows 20 which is good but when i read it off the boost guage it show 12-15.

i think the gauge is messed up.... torque reads is it a good. i'll just go with it. now im showing 35 psi of vacuum on the app... weird

it was hella fast though..... so not doing that again.... guess ill just wait till i can get my hands on a low mileage long block of a really cheep low mileage short block...

did you rebuild the bottom end on this motor? i forget.

or that short run time with the oil plunger being backwards may have done it.

n/a engines are cheap like $300 generally for rather low miles.

i changed the rods and pistons out and did the rod bearings... didnt touch the crank because of the block twisting, i already had the rods out or i would have left the n/a one in...

Well if you ever decide to be done with it hit me up lol. I'd love to have this little bastard.

haha never... im going to drop the pan and cut the oil filter in half tomorrow to try and figure out what happened. then im going to inspect the crank on the rod bearing that spun and replace the bearing with another... retorque and drive it for a couple hundred miles before i beat it... but eventually even if it works im going to find a low mile engine or just store it until i can pick up a new long block because i know ill never be able to trust this bottom end.

ummm picture worth a thousand words lol.... dont think i am going to be able to salvage this one... I am crying inside and out....
