17" cobra wheels on a GXP

I just bought some SVT wheels and hoping they will look ok, will I need spacers? I know the offset I believe is +28 here is a google pic I found of them on a grand prix

They are gunmetal color, does any one have pics of these kind of wheels on their cars?

you won't need anything special to put them on the car, but they may rub. especially because mustangs use bigger tires than a grand prix does.

They will rub with 275's, your stock wheels offset is alot different than the mustang rims.

Will 1.25" adapters help? i was looking at adapters that go from 115 to 114.3 with 1.25" width

That will make the rims stick out even more, like way more.

Figure if a stock gp rim that is 16 or 17in has an offset of 50-52, and you put on a set of saleens that have an offset of +36, they will now stick out 14-16mm further than stock rims.

I think the stock gxp wheel is -35 offset IIRC and they are 18's

You're right! so do you think ill be good at a 28 offset and not rub?

How wide are they? A +28 offset will look good but may rub in the fenders. You'll probably have to roll them.

No they're not. Mustang tires are 1" shorter than GP's.

Tires probably look too short because they are probably 245/45/17, which are 1" shorter than GP tires.
