Well since its deep a pen might not be a bad idea. First try Megiuars Ultimate rubbing compound. It works really well and could help with your situation. I have used it on my car and it has done wonders. Faded alot of the deep scratches I had and took alot of them out. I would do that then polish it then wax. If you have a buffer it would take you no time at all. Do the rubbing compound by hand with an applicator pad and really work it in. Thats what I did. Meguiars 105 is better then UC but you'll really want to use a buffer with it. Another option is to grab a touch up pen...not one from duplicolor..one from the actual dealer along with clear. Take a toothpick to level the paint into the scratch and then wetsand, compound, polish..do it correct you can make it near impossible to spot.

i'll check those products out tomorrow. i'm having trouble finding the paint tag on the car to get the right color of pen. would the dealership just know the color?

Yup that's what it looks like but a simple check would be to....


Wait for it....

Pop open the trunk and look on the sticker and match the code to that ones in the link

Or it may be right on the part that holds the reverse light. I wish I was around the GP and I could tell you for sure.

do it! i ****ing at seals.. they eat the fish out of my nets in alaska... bastards... i'll just go to the dealership tomorrow and they can tell me and maybe sell me some touch up paint too.

i looked behind the carpet **** on the trunk lid and didn't see it.. i might be blind though..
