'07 GXP - Bish is a little louder now

Re: '07 GXP - Alaska.. The Worst Frontier

Well since its deep a pen might not be a bad idea. First try Megiuars Ultimate rubbing compound. It works really well and could help with your situation. I have used it on my car and it has done wonders. Faded alot of the deep scratches I had and took alot of them out. I would do that then polish it then wax. If you have a buffer it would take you no time at all. Do the rubbing compound by hand with an applicator pad and really work it in. Thats what I did. Hope this helps its the technique I use and so far so good lol. Good luck.

Re: '07 GXP - Alaska.. The Worst Frontier

Meguiars 105 is better then UC but you'll really want to use a buffer with it. Another option is to grab a touch up pen...not one from duplicolor..one from the actual dealer along with clear. Take a toothpick to level the paint into the scratch and then wetsand, compound, polish..do it correct you can make it near impossible to spot.

Re: '07 GXP - Alaska.. The Worst Frontier

Can you catch the scratch with your nail? That'll tell if its through the clear coat or not. If it isn't you can compound/polish it out or wetsand it.
i can. thats the metal you see. it's def. through the clear coat.

i'll check those products out tomorrow. i'm having trouble finding the paint tag on the car to get the right color of pen. would the dealership just know the color?

Pop open the trunk and look on the sticker and match the code to that ones in the link
