02 GTP vs tacoma TRD supercharged



I wish GM had made something to truly compete with these. I wish they would have made the 5.3 or 6.0 supercharged in a single cab short box from the factory. Now that would be cool and once again would have waxed the ford.

chevy had the 454 silverado... ive seen videos on youtube of them spanking a lightings ass
 


I had a few things done to my truck, and the kid with the lightning wrecked it like 3 days before, so I'm sure that probly had a lot to do with it. Those 350's will really suprise you if you do some work to them.

Why didn't you mention that in your original post? :th_wtf: You didn't race anything.

I raced a z06 and put a tonne of car lengths on him. It helped that he was parked at a red light but still.
 
^^ lol. I don't think their that quick, I just saw one on passtime completely stock run a 14 something at 98 mph. I mean with a few bolt on's change the pully and what-not I'm sure their pretty quick, but their about as airodynamic as a rock.

Stock lightings are nothing to brag about...I believe stock they do run in the Low to mid 14's. I will be the first to say they can be MADE to be badddd!! But if im going to get a ford it will be a cobra :D

My best friend Frank Likert at one point was holding the record for the fastest lighting..I believe he was running a low 11. He then went to turbo. I found this...sooo not sure if there are any SC lightings running 7s...might be but doubt it. You can only make so much power on a SC. Everyone here should know that.
