Hey trannyman. I just read that u have street performance tranny's for $1450 and my tranny of course is acting up. In a wierd way to lol. Eventually I am in need of tranny work and am saving for one. How much would u charge to install this street tranny and how do I go about having u put this in?? Thanx

if i were to run a ZZP 3.4" mps, JMB fwi,ported lim, GBP Ported Blower and T
B, TB Spacer, headers,down pipe , Autolite 104's, 180* t-stat,aftmkt pcm and stock gearing how long do you think a tranny out of a 97 gtp would last ,also i don't plan on racing too often ,also what's the lowest pulley you think i can get away with without killing the trans thanks

Question my grandma has a 2002 gt 100% stock and she calles me yeaterday and tells me she has no foward grear and only has reverse. Can you tell me what you think is wrong? Does it need to be pulled or something stupiud like a switch or sensor? I checked the fluid and it is all normal looks good and is not burnt. I changed it at 100,000 miles again. First time was at 50,000. Please help.

hi i have a question i have a 2001 gp gt 3.8 l36 with a 4t65e with a zzp shift kit only set to recomended level and stock pcm recently my car has been shift ting weird in 1-2 gear it will bogg then shift hard into gear and it has only done it 3 times in the past 4 weeks just wondering what it could be the car has 190000 kms this car is my daily diver and i depend on it to get my kid to day care and to work any help would be great thanks

i have a 1998 grandprix 3.8 v6 gtp supercharged and the transmission went out and i was wondering if a transmission out of a 1998 grandprix 3.8 v6 without a transmission would fit in a the 98 with the superscharger thanks for the help

how much for a hardened 4th clutch and a master rebuild kit "everything i need to rebuild my trans" I JUST GOT REAL DEPRESSED TODAY... i think she is going and i JUST finished the engine ughhh FML

Just wondering what the normal opporating temp. was on the 4t65e was. I just had my trany replaced for the 3rd time. They said it was a final drive failure. This is what the tec. worte no third gear all gears slip. checked fluid lvl and condition. It was black and smelled. No codes droped pan found metal and clutch material present. Found final drive was bad causing metal to go through entire system 3rd gear clutch is completely burned up. They replaced trans test drove looked for leaks and its all better now. It says k7000 transmission replacement. Was wondering if overheating fluid might cause something like this

im having problems with a project again i have the 98 grand prix gt want to swap for a 97 gtp motor i talked to you you thought the best way was to use my 98 gt wire harness and a 98 gtp pcm i have found them at a salvage yard they said i need the part number on the side a problem becouse i dont have one another one they said i had to have the chip programed to my car by GM another problem none around here so any help would be greatly appreciated numbers or if it has to be programed and years of the pcm i can use
