bottom of the tranny, the little cover that covers the teeth of the flexplate....I have fluid pouring out from there.....front pump shaft seal? the torque converter itself? It gave no signs of failing, and as long as there is tranny fluid in, it runs and shifts fine....what ya think? Thanks for the help.

dave, i posted a problem with my tranny loosing all gears and now stuck in gear 1 w/key stuck in ignition. thread posted in the trans section. your help is greatly appreciated

Hi Dave,
I have a slight problem that has got me scratching my head..
I installed a Wizzard the other day.. and since after the install
the car will not move i have no gears what so ever.. i shut the car off let it sit
for about 20 min when i stared it up again i had gears cleaned up my mess but again no gears.. let it sit again for 15 min had gears but then the gears were gone..
Any insight on this ?

hey tranny man ,thanks for the info on the trans, but I think I need to inform you a little better because I seem to have symptoms that pertains to a lot of bad issues, lol. Here is the low down... It whines but only ever so often, It doesn't kick itself down, it has great take off! no hard shifts, but it seems to stumble after about 40 minutes of driving on a level surface but a quick pump of the pedal helps it adjust, also sometimes it stumbles through acceleration you know when I am going to pass a car, it stumbles( you can hear the engine pitch rev then then decel) I am really stumped. I think it is electrical, maybe even a throttle position sensor but I am just lost. I just want to do what I can for it, I love my car! Thanks for any and all info, Mikki

I am looking at picking up a 2002 tranny with 60K out of a GTP. What difficulties would I have installing it into my 97 GTP? I am thinking I would like to start building one up and have it ready when my stock 135xxx tranny dies. Thanks in advance.

Also I wanted to ask another question. I have one of Reptile's polished SC housing and he ported as best he could, but I know the company you use does a way better porting and I was wondering what would be needed to be done to maybe have mine ported? Mean how much time it would take to have the work done?

I was wondering or think if it could be done like on Friday or something and then we could put it all back together on Saturday or something? Just curious. Let me know when you have time.

Hey Trannyman, I found a post on 3800pro from you. You seem to have a ton of knowledge about my trans the 4t65e-HD. I'm currently building my 01 GTP and I'm est. about 600whp. I have a friend who has been building transmissions for years and has offered to build mine for free. Well I'll by him some beers or something. He has built tons of the 4t65e-HD but has never fortified one for this much HP. The main concerns I have are which input shafts should I go with, and what single chain gear should I get. Also I have read some forums on the Intense Diff. and it does'nt seem many people like them. My car is going to be a daily driver, but I will take it to the track a couple times as well.
I know this was a huge message and you probably get a ton of questions about these concerns.

Fave, Need to talk about a trans rebuild for a Michigan based GTP. He has everything except the chain in hard parts, and ZZP is quoting him a fair number ($1900), want to see what you can do.
