    Noise in Low Gear

    I have what I'm sure is an engine noise in first and second. (I'm positive it's not a tranny noise because I just got a rebuilt tranny.) It disappears once I'm in fourth. I just got the oil changed, so it can't be low or old oil. Any other ideas?

    What is the purpose of bring able to turn the cruise control off and on? There are already controls to initiate, resume, accelerate, and decelerate the cruise. If you want not to use it, just don't. Don't make the next guy have to work harder.

    MY driver's side door sill is pretty damaged. There's a pair on eBay that are in good shape, but I've held off on buying them for one reason: I don't know how to reattach them. Is there anyone here who can help? (The Cadillac forum was no help at all doing my CTS.)

    Rough Idle

    When I first start the car, it idles rough as Hell. It smooths out almost immediately afterward, and stays fine the rest of the trip. It doesn't matter if the engine id hot or cold, and there is no CEL.
