Re: 1997 Black GTP, Painted Headers.

It'll look awesome. If i could find cheap quality bodywork around here i'll be on board to do it.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Painted Headers.

Here is my black 97 GT with the door guards removed, I want this done on my current ride also.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Painted Headers.

Personally. I would not do it myself.

I want everything done right for my car so i would still have it done by my typical mechanic, a buddy of mine, who is really cheap anyways.

If i was going to do myself, i would have someone local with me such as Josh (Iceman6669) and/or Jeremy (BoostenGTP) to help me out since they both have helped me multiple times in person with my car.

Thanks for the response guys, I really want to try this myself I just wish I had a second hand with a little knowledge, im gonna bolt up the new exhaust myself but might hold off on the headers for a bit.

End jack for now.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Painted Headers.

although i am a fan of removing door guards, i kept them on my speed 3, they serve good function, unless you like parking your car way out in the lot to keep carts/doors from hitting the car. For that ill keep the function.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Painted Headers.

I'd enjoy your car already even with the steelies if you fixed your damn exhaust.

THAT'S IT.

JUST THE ***KIN' TIPS MAN.
