• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

1)Put on more clothes
2)Get a garage heater
3)Takes what 10 mins to change oil..lets give you 30 mins since your cold
4) Cheaper ( No need to worry about some tech screwing something up so easy)
5) Weren't you going to school to be a mechanic? Wouldn't you pride yourself on doing 'your own' oil changes.

I am going to school to be a mechanic... In Arizona where my freeze baby arse can do work :D

Like I said I regularly do my own. It was just too cold

i do my own oil changes too. don't trust some "technician" to do it. too many time's i've let the "pros" do something and they over torque my wheels or something so easy and simple like that. and so true... to dang cold to change your oil in our MN garages..luckily i have a heated shop. :)
i took my internal OEM lights out in preparation for installing my LEDs when i get them hopefully tomorrow.

Checked around the car for broken suspension bits. Cuz, according to pops a bad axel(s) won't make the car shake like the wheels are about to fall off. Well, nothings loose. It's going to the dealership again on Monday.

Anyone know how to fix a super small crack in a rim. My tires been leaking slowly for a few days and finally found its a small crack...barely visible. If it hadn't been for soapy bubbles I wouldn't of found it

Sent from my pager using Morse code. ... .. ... ....

all depends on where the air is leaking from, and what kind of rims they are. my old wheels were leaking from the under side of the rim, bad. the only thing i found was a write saying to take the wheel off, sand the inside clean, and then smear rtv over the leak area.

if its a real crack, you may want to take it to a wheel repair guy to re weld it. or something along them lines.
