Burgundy Bullet - Retrofit Pics and the End of the Bullet

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Got some Bullitt wheels!!

That was a good move. haha. I dont even listen to the radio anymore. It always bothered me that they played the same songs over and over that were good and then they made everyone hate them cause they were overplayed too much. haha

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Got some Bullitt wheels!!

You know, I was thinking.. Maybe bout 6in of lift and some super swampers. Just maybe. lol. Any suggestions for how to go bout lowering the thing? Are Coilovers the way to go? (if thats what they are called)

I went with SSC Springs and KYB Excel-G struts. Haven't looked back.

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Got some Bullitt wheels!!

Do you remember how much that cost you? Im pretty sure I have over 150,000mi on stock shocks and springs so they probly need to be replaced soon anyway so this probly wouldnt be too bad of a time to do it.

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Got some Bullitt wheels!!

Where can I buy a humount? Also I am thinking of debadging her but how do I go about taking them off without ruining paint? Beautiful car!

Hair dryer, and pocketknife, and use your thumb to rub that **** off. then autoglass cleaner to clean the area,
:P

Yea use a pocketknife what a great idea...sarcasm. Use fishing line or you can even use dental floss and sort of saw it away with one of the above. Afterwords hit it with some goo gone. You could also use a hair dryer to heat it up prior to using the floss/line makes it a bit easier.

I used floss the first time and then I put some other badges on and then used fishing line to get those off. Both days were 90 degrees so that helped. And thanks!

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Got some Bullitt wheels!!

are you gonna plastidip the polished lip on those too?

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Got some Bullitt wheels!!

Negative sir. The wheels are a gloss black and plasti dip is a flat black so they will not match. When I start running the wheels I will probably peel off all the plasti dip and do the front and rear facias on the car a gloss black so the accents match. Plus I like the look of polished and chrome things on a car better than the black actually.
