Wasn't looking to buy a sub anytime soon but a buddy of mine randomly texted me one day and asked if I wanted one and so I said yes. Its a 10in Pioneer sub and I got everything pictured for a pretty good price. Seeing as how I was not expecting to buy one anytime soon I have not done any research on how to hook it up and whatnot so any helpful dos and don'ts will be greatly appreciated.

Basically what I did the first time was like 120 or 220 grit sandpaper I think and then you work your way to about 1000. Now I just use some steel wool stuff and call it a day.

Running 90 octane in my car now because its cheaper/ or the same price as the 87 now here so hope that all goes good.
Good thing I changed my oil last night because I woke up to this.
Recap on yesterdays events:
Got home and this greeted me on my doorstep.
Then I proceeded to go try to change oil. Had to drive it up in blocks so I could get under it with ease. Easier said than done. Ended up that the one block tipped up as I tried to drive up on it and scratched the bumper up nicely. :th_angry-teeth: I then changed the oil and that went smooth. Exept the part where I totally spilled oil all over the exhaust. Naturally that would happen. (stupid little funnel) Next I decided to take it for a spin to make sure everything was alright. Went to roll up the driver window and it wouldnt go up. Nice. So I continue my drive and I hear this noise coming from the front. Suddenly I see something sticking up on the left front and Im like dafuk is that?? I pull over and noticed that the corner had broken off the mount. Guess Ill just get clear corners now.
Just run it like this until I get the new ones I guess. lol
But then I went to visit my granparents and when I left my window went up so I dont know what the deal is with that. lol. Just happy it works now!
I just thought Id share my night so you guys could have something to read while you eat donuts or something. lol.
Im slowly starting to gather what I am missing to run the sub so this will get more interesting for sure.

My guess is that the switch is starting to go bad but I really dont know. Guess I will just have to be careful with it.

Mine do that too. I heard that it could be that when you roll your window all the way down the wires get squished and don't work for a while. Lol "dafuk?"

hmmm. Thats interesting. Ill have to look into that because if thats true then it can weaken and break wires. Id rather not have that problem.

I dont know if its true because I've only heard that once. And that sucks about the scratches and parklight. I love your head lights. They look great!

Yea. Lucky for me Ive got plasti dip there anyway so that may have helped protect it slightly. Ill just re plasti dip that and itll cover it up at least. And thanks! If I would have had the money I would have done a retro fit and ran HIDs. Thatll just be a later project I guess.

I baked them in the oven for like 8 minutes at 275 or something like that and then used 2 flat head screwdrivers to pry the lense off. Baking allows the glue to become soft. The came apart pretty easy. Fog lights on the other hand DO NOT come apart when baked. lol. I just took a hacksaw to those to put the rings in.

What did you put them on? Just a baking sheet?

Well I just threw them on the rack in there and did em one at a time. It may not be a bad idea to put them on aluminum foil at least though.

Ok. I'm thinking of taking off my plastidip and actually painting the bump guards, valences, and mirrors.

I will probably end up painting some of that stuff that I have plastidipped black as well. I have to see what will look good with the wheels I bought for it. They are a couple pages back but are a gloss black with polished ring so they wont match the flat black. Did you do your spoiler black?

I see. I just did my spoiler black because the clear coat was peeling and looked like crap. When I look at it from the back and see the way it looks with the black facia it is awesome! I think black would look good on yours too.
