Burgundy Bullet - Retrofit Pics and the End of the Bullet

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Update with fail pic

Yeah probably but my spoiler is fine and I'm getting rid of all of my plastidip on my car because I'm tired of respraying. Lol

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Update with fail pic

Ive never resprayed on the spoiler, mirrors, guards, or facias. Just the wheels and lower mouldings every once and a while. But IF you ever want to go for a different look keep the black spoiler idea for an option.

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Update with fail pic

no the gen 2 is the one you are thinking of its the same as the daytona,40th, and special edtitions spoilers

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Update with fail pic

spray the windows with plastidip its cheaper than tint gawd

Oh yea. Thats right. I considered a new spoiler at one time and the gen one was the one I was going to go with I think. Agressive but not overdone. Although Id rock an SD if someone gave me one.

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Update with fail pic

You just added halos intothe stock fogs? I have hid's and had to get whole new fogs because my stocks melted! but how did you wire them up? Geat looking ride by the way!

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Update with fail pic

Yea. I had to use a hacksaw to get them apart and then I had to drill small holes through the housing on each side so I could put very small wire around the ring to hold it in place. I also had drilled a little bit bigger hole in the back of the housing to run the wire out of it. Then I was able to run it to a switch I had installed in the car as shown in the pic I posted a few pages back. I tapped into a fuse spot for the power drop I think it was to run power to the switches and the lights.

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Update with fail pic

Alright im just trying to plan something that i can run the halos from when i get mine. Thanks for the tips

Re: Burgundy Bullet - Clear corners, lots of gaskets, and BIG air filter! Pics includ

So I had a little trouble with the as previously mentioned. Put 5w30 oil in instead of the 10w30, one of my corner lights broke, had a little to do with the driver window, and scratched the car. But on the bright side the oil will be fine to run so no problem there, I got new clear corners, window is working good now, and just need to put plasti dip over the scratches. lol. So it all works out!

Just need to get some different turn signal bulbs so its not orange in there. Not sure what to get yet.

Got all this fun stuff!!!!! If anybody can think of anything else I should replace while in there just let me know.

You should get some stealth bulbs for your clear corners!

Some Burgundy paint for the UGLY black plenum you are about to install.

Along with the stealth bulbs and new elbows lol

Coolant elbows?

The plastic 90* angled thingers that break all the time apparently and leak coolant all over the place.

Will definitly consider. Are those the LED ones that are like white until you signal and then they turn amber?

Make sure you get the metal ones.

Some LED's would look awesome in your corners. Looks good!

Have metal ones on the way. Have heard that after a while they are a B***H to get out but I do not plan on major mods anytime soon.

And by LEDs do you mean like pop them apart and put LED strips in them much like I did to the headlights or do you mean the LED bulbs.

Hater! :P lol jk.. I may paint it buuuuuuuuttttt I hardly run without the engine cover anyway so its always hidden. Plus I am going to hold off on this until late spring or early summer when its decent out. I figured I would have all the stuff on hand incase my car decided to say "FVCK YOU BEN!!!" and then proceed to make me a nice milkshake made from fresh new oil and Dexcool.

Any and all suggestions will be considered.
