Well listen to me about the wire removal too.

And don't thank me, just be happy on how well the car will run after you get it back and situated.

Do it. But pucker up that anus, you're in for a fun ride in that jail cell.

But hello insurance check :)

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Project Mpg, Step 2 of 4.

Got my MSD wires in the mail today and this morning i went to work on the car. Changed out all the plugs with Autolite Coppers and gapped them all to .060. The red MSDs look real nice under the hood. I enjoy them. Car seems to run and and idle well. Service Engine Light is still on though. Tried changing the Fuel Filter but the fuel line bolt is completely rusted on, not sure what to do.. Also i got it a fresh oil change. So lets see how she holds up for now.

Old Plugs:

Cylinder 4 was such a b*tch though. Not only did the plug wire rip, the boot was stuck on there like no other. I tugged and pulled none stop, even with vice grip and it just wouldnt budge. Finally i got lucky and it popped off. Plus it was in the tightest spot possible in the back of the engine, i was getting quite upset.

Next steps with the car: Paint the Fuel Rails red, Install new black smooth VC, and im getting new LED tail lights, then tinting them.

Luckly you said that, My tips are starting to rust on the outside. So new Tips are the new future, most likely after winter.

Also, we need to change my Fuel Filter Saturday. The old is so rusted on there, i couldnt get it off and didnt want to break the fuel line, so i figure we could give it a shot.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Tune Up Almost Finished.

Yeah i might need to give that a try. The fuel line bolt wont budge what so ever so i quit before i was going to snap the fuel line. I got scared. PB Blaster might be my next step.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Tune Up Almost Finished.

Yeah im thinking about taking it to a shop but i would rather save the money. Ill try PB blaster, If it doesnt work i might just take it to a shop.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Tune Up Almost Finished.
