Naturally when I finally decide to do a burn out the G8 generously smokes on the other side, werd.

Re: The G8

As of right now I have a set of powdercoated American Racing Headers sitting in my living room for installation. The horses have gotten in the way by annihilating my fences. Also put an SLP spoiler on the G8. Painted Matte Black.

Here is a photoshoot I did with the G8 and the GTP. Very happy with the two of 'em.

I'll have shots of the headers later, thought I had them on my FB, but guess I pulled them off.

Re: The G8 - Post #27

Re: The G8 - Post #27

Thank you for the feedback guys, I couldn't be happier with either one and the G8 makes for a nice daily :)

As for the track time this is what it ran with nothing more than a CAI and the Vector tune. Was my first time on the strip so I was a little nervous, but can't wait to go back! 8.809 at 82.96mph (1/8 dragway).

Wow, I'm incredibly flattered by the remark on the photography... All those years of putzing around with a point and shoot have paid off when I finally invested in a DSLR :)

Re: The G8 - Post #27

i can't stop looking at this G8... i used to want a white one, but now i want this magical blue :D

Re: The G8 - Post #27

You should go with the Stryker Blue, I'm biased... but it hides dirt incredibly well and doesn't stain like the lighter colors do. Plus it gets its fair share of attention at the car shows :)

I love this color. When G8's first were being introduced I fell in love with this color. Didn't help that DuBob bought his in this color lol.

Re: The G8 - Post #27

nice G8!!! i just picked up one myself!! i fell in love with her instantly.

Re: The G8 - Post #27

I though the blue daytona was my favorite color. This blue G8 is my new fav blue. Can you post the name and paint code plz.

Re: The G8 - Post #27

i bet it polishes like a champion

Oh my gosh, when I finally got it polished up it was incredible, made me love the color even more. I love the outcome of a polished black car, but the depth of color a metallic flake offers is incredible.

I hear ya' ;) You'll probably see a shoot soon enough with the G8 and a '98 Daytona, give ya two fixes at once eh?

Here's the paint code and such: 39U 608R Voodoo Blue Met aka Stryker Blue Metallic.
