• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

I can get us a few banners from budweiser for free. Just need to know what we want on them once the time get closer.

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

Dang, never realized this but I'm gonna have to get a different GP between now and then. All of y'all are gonna have your tricked out GTP's or your Daytona's or your GXP's or Comp G's or whatever and here I'll be with my boring as f*ck GT. You guys will be making my little white POS look bad lol.

(Btw, nice car there jmak)

And dpzelenak I think the caravan idea is a good one. Maybe once we get some things set in stone as far as who is/isn't coming we could get a caravan thing figured out.

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

so a rough idea

friday meet n greet then hit the track.
saturday amusement park and dinner (hotel after) maybe back to track?
sunday farewell to long haulers ( do some cruising after breakfast)

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

For the banners hows " Grand prix fourms we blow up grocery getters" and cedar point has that ride that has 4 top fuel drag cars side by side on tracks and you sit in it and on green you shoot to 120mph or something never been on it just heard but the amusement park didn't go over in kc and cedar point isn't cheap you won't go there with out spending close to 100 bucks and for half that you could load up with the beer and hit the beach

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

i just threw CP out there as an idea. Been hearing lots of people saying the past few meets have been boring or uneventful.

I like rays idea, meet friday, show&shine, then track
some kinda mid day activity sat, evening party,
sunday breakfast/roll out

or track sat, wrench friday..

would be boss if we could get a pro photographer, nothing fancy like Dave's rolling rig pics, but something where we all get decent pics taken of our cars.

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

ill work on that, i know the track and park will be pricier then KC but you have almost a year to budget money.

I can do rolling pics if I can ride in a car/ lean out the window, worked great in IA, even in the rain. One of the locals should scope out a few good spots that can hold a large number of cars in one pic. Somewhere with a tall building nearby that we have access to would be golden. An empty parking garage would look Bauce full of GPs.

Dibs on one of these when the event is over!

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

That works nicely, specially if you have a nice SLR or sumthin.

some kinda industrial pics are nice too!

The more angles the better! Every photographer sees things different.

And sisters are always good :th_shakinghead1:
