Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

Going to nationals is not a bad idea, even if it is a little more money. Only down side is less track time per person.

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

Oh well...I'm sure we can sneak in a few passes, especially if there are 30+ cars entered in the FWD class...gotta weed out those slow kerz ;)

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

Id rather see everyone that wants to run run its no fun just choosing a few to.

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

well yeah, everyone run if we can, but if space is limited.. no good.

any more word from our Ohio contingency??

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

I suppose you guys have never been to an event like Pontiac Nationals.....

Space is never limited, they literally have the track open all day, from 8am till after dark, when I went 2 years ago, everyone got at least 5-6 runs each day.

You don't need "GPF representatives"............... :th_depressed:that would just make the community seem like a bunch of ricers. Whoever wants to race races, everyone else either enjoys the car show or sits in the pit area playing drinking games and having a blast.

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

Yeah I have never been to nationals I assumed there would be a ton of cars at the track all day. But from what you said im all for it now.

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

Granted their are a ton of cars, LOL, but everyone gets their fair share of racing in, believe me you.

Don't you lie to me Vin Adolf Diesel.

Ricers gunna rice, you know that.

Ha.

Regardless...I'd love to just trailer the car up and go balls out in it...we'll see.

I'll be doing the latter.......:th_beer-smash:

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

Maybe Ill drag someone with me so they can drive me around in the truck once I break my car.

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

psh, find a big parking lot, lets get some cones and do some horrible w-body drifting i mean auto-x. 1st one to flip a car gets ice cream.

Re: Norwalk Ohio 2012 Planning comittee

So... Its settled then? GPF @ 21st Annual Pontiac Nationals 2012!

Now lets get down to the important things, we should book hotels early! Anything in the area is going to be higher priced due to demand.

I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but for 2011 weekend pricing for Pontiac Nationals was $30. The schedule looked pretty packed. You can do "primitive camping" at summitt for $25.
