• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Does It REALLY get this bad up north???

I have several hundred, possibly 1,000's of chairs and benches that you can have. I scattered them all thru the streets of Phila. in various parking spaces. You can pick them up once the snow stops and then for the next 2 weeks.
Enjoy!!!

do snowstorms get bad? try living in a snowbelt, the amount of snow in that pic isnt alot, can accumualte in a couple hours

as for the chairs? talk about the most hated resident!

OMG, that looked like my block last winter! Seriously, I don't know about any place else, but once you "mark" your parking spot with a chair (rocking horse, bbq, pizza box grandma's walker or any other random item) after a snowstorm in Philly if someone decides to move that item, be prepared to see the air to be released from their tires....or worse LOL

My guess would be the weather isn’t the issue, it is the lack of parking. I’d bet someone came up with a great idea to save the parking place by their house. And then the whole neighborhood caught on. I’ve been to Philly many times, parking is bad. However, Boston is just flipping ridiculous!

anyone that hates snow doesnt deserve to live in the north. go back to the south you damn hippies. snow is a glorious thing.

that was taken in January after a pretty decent Snow Storm, that was taken at about 6am after the storm was finished ... (I work for a Landscape/snow removal service so i was in work for about 23 hours during that storm). Kinda regret getting rid of that Blazer at this point now winter is creeping up again

i heart great lakes lake effect snow

It's amazing. We get just about the southern most tip of the lake affect snow here in Delaware, OH. Our pattern is completely different than columbus even.

I hope we get pelted with snow this winter.

I like driving in the snow with my 4x4. Thats about it. But the daily unnecessary salting of roads and the weeks on end with no sun, it gets old fast.

Since I have lived in Detroit all my life and have learned to hate the snow, I want to move. The rusty cars, the awful pothole roads, bad drivers, rude (liberal) people who are in a hurry to get to either nowhere, or the unemployment office,....Im done. Ya its cool to live in the Motor City, but weighing the options, its a no brainer.

Hello South Carolina.

Snows not bad, its when you get 4" of ice is what gets retarded. Altho is fun to punch the side of your ****ty car and watch the sheet of ice shatter.

My state needs to introduce your state to road salt. Your body panels might vanish, but you sure as hell wont have an ice problem. :th_biggrin2:

Oh we have tons of salt, sand, some mystery liquid and it still gets icy, plus no one gives a **** about the country roads.
