25k in your hand what car would you build up

if youre building a 350 and cant get it to rev to 8000 rpm without blowing apart then youre doing something wrong.

Have much experience with 350's running to 8k? Not very common at all in a street car.

If you build an all out motor then sure you can cover all of your bases but you will be putting down some serious money. Hard to fight physics.

FWIW even a stock LS1 has a redline of 6200 and most guys do not go over 7k, really no need.

not saying its useful or normal to be able to do that, but given the right build its more than possible. i would just run 6000 red line and put a monster blower on it.

its all about lightening up the rotating assembly, making sure its all balanced so nothing is fighting anything else, and making sure you dont float any valves. its not that hard of a concept.
 
Still thinking an 03 - 04 Cobra would work nicely... its like a grand prix with a V8, rear wheel drive, bigger blower, and a better built stock engine to work from.

those 2jz's have so much potential. that might be pushing the price tho, mk iv's go for around 10 to 15 large. on the other hand mkiii are cheap and are really good too

yea iget the car for around 15k, 5-7k for the turbo and other mods. i might be a little over, but its definetly possible for 25k.
