25k in your hand what car would you build up



new idea: g35 coupe with huge (read: wide) wheels, hellaflushed, all bolt ons on the motor and a set of cams. ugh...i just came:

idk why but in my area s13's are really easy to come by on craigslist. i could get a one for like 5-10k already with some mods and go from there
 
94 Viper RT/10 w/ ported heads, headers, cat back exhaust, K&N intake, 1.7 shaft rockers and a 708 cam = 24,787 with 500-600 HP, sounds like a load of fun to me so someone give me 25k.
 


I'd build a badass 69 GTO with a big polished blower and a couple thirsty carbs guzzling alky on top, and put a five speed in it and four wheel disc brakes and some big swaybars and paint it all orange.... Oh wait, I already did that :th_laugh-lol2:.

For my next act, I want to build a street rod. I've had this vision of a T bucket phaeton with a turbo charged slant 6 chrysler with the push button automatic and a big Dana 60 rear end. Huge meats on the rear and paint it all metalic lime green.
 
I have a 53 Chevy Pickup. I would do a restomod on it. Keep the body stock, lower it just a touch, put a 9 inch in the rear and a 454 under the hood. Have a sick cruising truck.

Used Turbo Cobalt, Bigger turbo, bigger injectors catless dp, drag slicks, clutch Tune= 11 sec car.
 


No doors...or title? You might want to find one in slightly better shape that comes with a title. T top cars are hard to find though.
 


All though going all out on the camaro would be fun I think I would take the 25k and go a lil smarter now that I really thought about it. I'd start by finish building my 355 thats been in the garage for about 2 years, top it with vortec heads, 268 comp cam, performer rpm air gap, rebuild my 650 double pump, take the exhaust over the rear end, disc brakes, sway bars, dyno tune I should be about 400hp, able to slow down, and corner fairly decent, led tails, hid's out front. Take the remaining 21k walk over to my belair, gasket kit the motor, rebuild the carb, airbag, redo my interior, repaint it aqua with the white roof and white quarters, pic up the one molding I am missing, white walls, flame throwers, led tails, hid's up front. 12k left, hhhmmmmm gtp's turn, regulator and motor for driver side window, repaint rear bumper, get plate filler, 20" rims (black net or 5 flat spoke haven't decided yet polished lip with the polished rivets), 13" brake set up, 3.2 with supporting mods, 6000k hid's. about 5k left, hold it for maintenance repairs... :th_thumbsup-wink:
