help me pick my new car!!

DUI BABY
alright, looked within 50 miles of my house at cars under $15k for something around town that i wouldnt mind driving for a few years. these are what i came up with:

2006 Civic SI

2006 Impreza 2.5i

2005 Cobalt SS

at this point in time i think i would enjoy the impreza the most as far as DD action, exhaust note, and handling. The SI and SS would be faster cars. i like that the SI is 6 speed. also LOVE that burnt orange color.

well, opinions? ability to take to bolt ons? anyone ever driven any of these?

help me pick! i will come home with one on saturday and the prix will be UP FOR SALE!

why not look into a newer model GP??

the honda is ugly imo -
subaru is the body style i love, i love the WRX STI - the hood just says "i go faster than you" lol
the cobalt is a nice car for a DD

and if you really wanna get rid of the GP you can just Give it to me lol free of charge of course :) id even come get it LMAO

the civic is just ugly.......the cobalt would be the only way to not become a ricer..haha.........but the subaru would be the most fun to drive winter or summer. I would get the subaru or the cobalt.....forget the POS civic. I can't believe you even considered it.......If you are gonna keep it for less than four or five years, I would get the subaru.....just due to resale value later. FWIW Good luck. you know you will change your mind by tomorrow, right?

i'd love the cobalt. the subi would be cool too, but the honda would be too east to get called a ricer. but definitely the cobalt in my opinion, i love gm

im not really planning on modding any of them beyond intake and exhaust. i believe the subbie or cobalt are really my choices, but the civics 6 speed really entices me.

Yuck on the first two, the Cobalt SS could be fun and has good potential but I'd go the Turbo version over the S/C after seeing some results with those. Though the price would be more I'm sure.

Personally, I'd look around for a nice GTO. They can be had for those prices, decent miles, and the potential is endless. Look hard enough, even a good C5 could be had, Though older, more miles, not family friendly, and probably rougher...

My buddy is trying to sale his Cobalt SS....it holds the record for fastest car not on NOS and on stock blower at 12.7. I think he is wanting like 9K for it. I could get more info and pics for you.

Get a WRX or STi...no RS bullcrap. I'll be the first to tell you don't be a Larry Bagina and buy a Cobalt or Si...or I'll make fun of you.

iron indian stole my thunder. gto baby! but since u listed 3 my opinion would be between sub and the ss. i do like the hondas and it'll last for ever, but turbo it!. the honda would be hardest because we all make fun of them, but hey i drove one too. just get what makes u happy and u gotta admit the sub is a badda$$ stock. good luck, enjoy and let us know what u decide.

let me rephrase the "i need a new car thread"...

THIS WILL BE A DD IN WISCONSIN! IT HAS TO GO THROUGH A FOOT OF SNOW AT ANY GIVEN TIME!

that being said, im looking at the subbie and the cobalt the most. i plan on going to both dealerships and picking which one of the two i enjoy more after i drive them and play with all the buttons and switches. this car is strictly a DD, maybe a little modding on it, but nothing much. i will be driving this car for a few years and making due. im moving onto the bike project that ive been wanting to do since ive started riding bikes.

Don't be a *****, a RWD can be driven in the snow too. I know people who live up north and do it. Granted the Vette probably wouldn't be the best for the snow, that leaves the GTO open...
