Boost

i was just wondering how much boost my l67 3.8 engine gets and idk what size pulley it is but its smaller i wasnt the one that put it on

Well if you don't have supporting mods for that smaller pulley then get rid of it or get a bunch of exhaust mods or your car = a ticking time bomb. What size pulley is it? You can go out and measure it too if it isn't written on there. Stock is about 5-7 psi IIRC and a basic 3.4" pushes 10psi.

Heh...buddy of mine saw 15 psi with his 3.4" and no knock...go figure. LOL Car is a freak.

I saw 17 on my 3.1" on a VERY cold day...about 2* outside. And I had no knock either so who knows...get a boost gauge. That'll tell you.

My stock pulley sees anywhere from 7-9 psi stock according to my aeroforce gauge at max rpm's on the standard 3.8 pulley......but psi is over rated as it is just a way to gauge how much restriction(backpressure) is in the system.......if you had a huge intake and headers on, it would not make close to that much boost, but still make as much or more power.........obviously I need to upgrade my exhaust.......
