Thinking about getting a gtp have around 10k

I don't know pricing in your area, but around here it's different..

77k Miles for $7000 (And I already talked to the guy, they would take easy 6000 cash for it)

1998 Pontiac Grand Prix

65k miles for $8500

2001 Pontiac Grand Prix in NEW CASTLE , PA 16101: Coupe Details - 266011004 - AutoTrader.com

54k miles for $7500

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix in FRISCO, TX 75035: Coupe Details - 265574028 - AutoTrader.com

I'd keep looking.. personally I'd look for a 98-99

Doubt it...they don't most of the time mess with anything above the downpipe IMO.

Just get some PB Blaster and let it soak on there for a day or two, break the bolts loose...unbolt the old manifold and bolt in the Powerlog...it REALLY isn't that hard.

I would, but I am afraid that I will destroy something. Is there a a how to secion for installing one??

If you destroy something then I'll give you credit...but there is honestly nothing you can destroy minus the 2 manifold bolts that bolt into the crossover...but those always tend to snap...just get new ones...

Thanks for the info it does not sound like a tough job and It should save me some cash

Man, I wish that I could get a 98 GTP for cheap, but it seems that most of the Grand prixs in wisconsin are all GT's or if there are GTP's there usually all rusted out.

should have bought mine TDog. i just got done selling my car pretty heavily modded for only a grand. a little know how and it would have been a hell of a car. i just moved out of germantown to west allis. you may have seen my car around if you were paying attention. dark green coupe tinted out. lowered with a LOUD blower. ;)

the car is sold though. the guy took the motor/trans out and is making a turbo car.

Bio, you sold u car for only a grand?!?! Why? What was wrong with it? You let it go with those rims you had on it? Your car was sick.

shame, his car looked good... and thats odd coming from me cuz I hate green and green cars. I think it was his rims that made it look so hot.
