Thats y half these 3800s blow up bc people build b4 they plan. I dont care how long i take to build but when its done it'll be done right. Transmission is a no brainer, already in the works.
 
It'll be done around the same time that marshals mechanics turbo build will be done

their existence is an affront to humanity. why spend 4000 on something when the car is likely to be worth less than that one item. you are better off spending your money on high dollar transmission parts.
 
Or you could've spent the money and went turbo and make more power then you'll ever will with the blower.

True, but what if one has the money to spend on something like aluminum heads your saying theres no benefits or gains?

With a high quality build and or to make max power you'll need heads (yeah turbo but i don't wanna go that route)
 
if you want to waste your money just to say" i got al heads" do it. your cash.

id just get some ported iron heads, its a 3800, not a v8. for a 100 bucks in tools you can port your own heads, or just polish them even, any thing done over stock is a help.

Scotty we ARE talking about Dee here.. My bet is this will never happen..ever.
 
Will there be gains..sure but you could easily ported a set of stock heads to flow well and used the money and bought a used turbo kit.. Cause I'm sure at least 2k on those fancy aluminum heads.. Reminds me of joey (spartan something on here) all that money just to keep the blower

U guys are right tho, now those aluminum heads were lets say $1000 would u buy them?

I was only getting them just to get the most out of my 3800 along with other mods keeping the blower bc i dont wanna go turbo
 
Nope rather spend less then half of that and port a set of stock heads

So how much did you spend on em?
