• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

boost

You act like that's difficult.

3.0 SOHC Mitsubishi V6 (3 or 4 times)
3.0 DOHC Mitsubishi V6 (on more than one car)
1.8 SOHC Mitsubishi
2.0 DOHC turbo Mitsubishi (several times on multiple cars)
2.0 DOHC (4g63) NA Mitsubishi (more than once)
2.0 DOHC (420A) NA Mitsubishi (more than once)
2.0 SOHC (420A) Dodge Neon (more than once)

The list could go on, but I won't. And I have done all those and I don't work as a mechanic.

I found the guy who likes diamonds ;)

LOL I definitely know them. As I made that list I LOLed at myself at all the Mitsu product.I think only one of those cars is mine. Others were all friends, family, etc.

EDIT: I take that back, at least 2 were mine. I had a turbo Talon years ago and I did the t-belt a few times swapping the head. Done a few other turbo DSMs too.

Lmao

I've done the head and timing belt on the 420a in the 2g and the belt and cam seals
on the 6g72 in the 3G.
Both fun times

I hated the 420A. Never done a 3G 6G72.

I forgot to add the 2.4 DOHC that was in the Stratus, etc. My brother dropped one into his dirt track Neon and we did 2 timing belts on it.

I'm still chuckling that someone had such an ambiguous problem described as a loss of boost, but no numerical value assigned to the loss.

Check it out

From the top it doesn't look much different than the 12V SOHC 6G72, but the tensioner looks to be more like those on the 420A. The 12V has a simple spring tensioner.

So what exactly do you have done as of today? I always see threads about inquiring for new mods but no idea what you have actually done yet

Naw, ive just been buying all my mods over time and collecting all the info ima need to build one sick ass 3800.
