• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

This is my GXP's Replacement - 2012 CTS-V Coupe

Received a new Injector Oring kit from Rockauto. MANY of the online GM parts places didn't even HAVE this in their catalog. At least NOT where it should've been.

My injectors arrived minus ONE lower oring. a single oring shipped was about 10 bucks. all 16 ACDelco orings (a complete "seal" kit) were 24.xx plus shipping. much better. Should never reuse them anyways.

Took 5min to swap them all one at a time.

That should be everything I need.

Dyno coming on friday!

2.5 pulley, Chinafiber intake pipe, K&N, airbox mod, 63lb injectors & Tuned by Mike @ New Era

Any dyno from before the mods? Geezus that things gotta be fun to drive!

unfortunately no. most stock 6spd V's dyno around 470rwhp. I'm guessing i got a factory freak or something...usually a 2.5, intake and injectors gets 530-560hp max. Their dyno is a dynojet of course but it's not exactly known for being too happy either...

So I have to ask whats next for mods??!!

Mike says the headers they've installed that fit the best are ARH headers...if the wedding doesn't take ALL my money the car is probably getting a set of ARH 2" LT's into a 3" catless midsection and into the stock dual 2.5" muffler. This combo is uaually good for another 30whp...

then i'm gonna leave it the **** alone. unless my turbo busa sells...then all bets are off. literally. it'll sleep the winter at New Era and be receiving a full H/C swap, ported everything, lower pulley, ID850's, track Attack HX, ZL1 lid and Varimax pump.

we've got people making 800rwhp on the stock TVS1900 easily.

If i wanted to get stupid...i could do a 416 with a 4 liter whipple...

Those numbers are pretty damn impressive. Need some videos for sure.

Hope that Busa sells....... :th_thumbsup-wink:

Ok. So now coming up on just over one year later...

i couldn't leave the damn car alone.

it now has:

Track Attack HX
Norcal Box
Varimax HX Pump
ZL1 Lid
CNC 90mm LS7 TB
New Era Intake
2.4 Pulley
No Cats

That combo made same HP as previous on a day where it was over 30* warmer in the dyno cell. Most of the benefits came from lower IAT2's and the additional pulley. I'd expect that i got 10hp from the cats and 20 more between the TB and pulley which negates the temp increase.

In less than 12hrs we are leaving on a road trip to vengeance racing to have a RPS Billet Carbon Twin Disc clutch installed with Tilton Slave and new speed bleeder. This clutch should comfortably handle 800whp and some.

On May 13th the car is scheduled to be dropped off at new era performance again for the following:

Ported Supercharger
TEA Stg 2 CNC LSA Heads
LT1Z Stg 2.5 Cam
ATI Balancer w/9.1 lower
ID850's
NW102 TB
4.5" Intake
Stainless Works 2" Catless headers
and a bunch of other piddly ****.

It should come back making between 660 and 700whp!

Also...still have the busa...haha.

I wish I had more time to dedicate here. Good group of dudes...but most of my time is spent over on ctsvowners now. The classifies are great and we can openly call each other ****s. Lol

It's a wonder I'm even still working. Frac is super slow right now but my fleet is staying busy. The entire oil/gas industry is ****ered.
