• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

This is my GXP's Replacement - 2012 CTS-V Coupe

Very nice car! I am looking to pick up a sedan in another 2 years if I do well in my business. A cheap upgrade for these is also the LSA powered Camaro Lid (brick top mount intecoolers) it is bigger and a simple bolt on. Can be ordered for about $350 from the dealer! Worth about 15 HP to the wheels! Gotta love upgrades that are that cheap!

Awesome car! Unless it is part of a suspension package I wouldn't lower the ride height. Fricken suspension was designed for the power that beast can make. No point in messing with it. Car is sexy enough as is.

Installed Cheap Ebay Chinafiber Intake Pipe...

It was NOT a direct drop in modification.

The tube itself had to be trimmed about 1/2" or so on the TB side and needed the angle massaged on the airbox side.

The T-Bolt clamps are too wide for what's left to grab onto after trimming the couplers. I will be replacing with regular cheap hose clamps.

Otherwise i am satisfied with the look & result.

Airbox Modification performed according to Lingenfelter's directions and a K&N was added.

Car is getting delivered to New Era Performance on 3/20 for a Metco 2.5 upper pulley, 63lb injectors, solid isolator, and a dyno tune from Mike.

Car should be making ~630chp or roughly 525-540whp...that is pretty typical for modded box, pulley & tune. we'll have final numbers that afternoon but that's as far as the car goes for now...

i would love the ability to make that kinda power with simple additions.

pretty sure with headers these guys are making some seriously stout numbers, too. any ideas on what you're doing with the exhaust? for some reason everyone wants their car to be as loud as possible and i kinda hate it.

Usually Headers/catless/corsa/tune gets pretty close to a 50hp gain from what i can tell. A Full exhaust with a 2.5, intake, and tune should put me 560+ at the tires.

No matter what i do up front i'm pretty dead set on keeping the stock catback.

I'm gonna need your address and the keys left under the mat.....thank you lol. I'll even leave you a turbo gp.

That's because you're a girl.

Loud things are cool.

I agree with what you have stated. However, don't discount the value and quality of the Corsa- They are head and shoulders above any other, and quite tame at normal throttle, but shriek like a banshee at WOT. I have 3 Corsa systems, and love them. The admission price is high, but if you want to be part of the club, well worth it. CTS-Vs aren't cheap to begin with ;)

Rotors - 180.xx a piece
Pads - 180.xx a set

I can reshoe a GXP Front AND Rear in top of the line stuff for approximately 1/2 the cost. LOL

i'm converting my car to 5lug. basically i'm replacing everything on the hubs except for the calipers. i know exactly how expensive all these parts are, haha.

The price of admission sure sucks but it's a hell of a show once you're in...
