• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I removed the headlight and turn signal. There is a black housing that I adjusted with a few washers. Seems to have done the trick.
You referring to the mounting bolt (black housing to vehicle) closest to the corner light?

I'm really pleased with the way the intercooler turned out on my install. Its angled a little to catch all the air and i build side plates to keep all the airflow going to that area and up. The majority of the work is done. I just gotta order some more random lines and build a homemade catchcan

Hey did you ever solve that high idle issue? My bad if I missed it

Yes. After a while. I think the cheap Auto Zone IAC is to blame. The car is okay now as long as I dont stay at WOT too long. I took her 2 hr trip up north last weekend and it was good. Getting ready to do the same trip this weekend. I have complete faith in this car.

Before I go I am putting in a known good IAC I pulled from a wreck with 80k miles.

installed a 3 inch band clamp on the last damn joint on my headers that did not have one, as it was leaking. got a torctight for 10 bucks at napa.

took a good look under the car looking for where the headers my be touching. looks like it was hitting my p/s lines, one is pounded a bit flat. but the new mounts seems to have fixed that. the only other place thats real tight looking is the where the cross over pipe meets the rear header. cant see any damage from any contact tho. did rip out the heat shield wire loom off my brake lines on the fire wall, those we laying on the header and melting some.

This.. Going from a fairly decent stock set to a new replacement set isn't much of a difference visually.. So you should just do a retro on the new set and completely change the look and have better light output.

Those old headlights were much worse in person. They were yellow and flaking pretty badly. I had already polished them several times and even clearcoat the top part of the lenses. New headlights were pretty reasonable. If I could afford to retrofit right now I would. Maybe in the future.

Got my head porting kit. Going to port the inlet on my blower, the outlet is already done. Taking the heads apart getting ready for polishing them this weekend.

Discovered why the Northturd looses 1st after it warms up.. My dad's never checked the trans fluid and it didn't even register on the dipstick. I'm gonna throw some Lucas in it tomorrow and top it off. The Northturd lives on.
